Frequently Asked Questions
How do I submit a press release to Press Release Bureau?
In order to submit a press release, you first need to register. Once you have registered, a new member account will be created for you. After registering, log in to your new account and access the publisher's area.
What is a press release layout?
A full description of the all sections that make up a press release can be found here Press Release Layout.
What type of press release is rejected for publication?
The submitted press release must comply with the terms of use agreement, must not infringe on any copyright, and must not cause harm to a third person. We don't not accept press releases which come across as advertisments, articles, blog posts, personal opinions or spam. The press release must be newsworthy. We do not publish anonymous press releases, or press releases of the “Buy Me” type.
If my press release is rejected, do I get a refund?
If a press release is rejected by our editorial team, then the money you have spent will be refunded in full over the following few days. If the press release is withdrawn from publication after the approval of our editorial team, due to fraudulence, falsification of facts, copyright infringement or other disputes over the contents, then we do not refund fees.
How are press releases ranked?
Press releases are arranged in accordance with the price of the distribution plan. Within the same distribution plan, press releases are arranged by the date on which they were submitted – the later a press release is submitted, the lower on the page it will be published. Press releases published through the premium distribution plan remain at the top of the page for a period of one month.
Therefore, to make sure that a press release is at the top of a page after publication, try to submit the press release a few days before the publication date and include the publication date in the Publication Date field on the press release form.

Is it possible to edit a press release after publication?
For the period after the press release has been submitted but before our editorial team has looked it over, it is possible to make corrections or changes. After the press release has been approved by our editorial team, only those with distribution plans that permit it may introduce changes.
How long will my press release remain accessible via Press Release Bureau?
Your release remains online at Press Release Bureau until you remove it. Usually, press releases are not deleted even after they become outdated, because these press releases can show company history and activity.
Can you guarantee that my press release will be picked up by the mass media?
No. We can not guarantee that your press release will necessarily be of interested to, and therefore picked up by, the mass media. We only provide a service for the distribution of press releases. Try asking yourself questions about whether the news described in your press release is interesting, and how interesting the announced event is to journalists. The more interesting the news in the press release, the more likely it is that the press release will be picked up by the mass media.
What purpose does the map serve in the press release?
The map is not a obligatory part of the press release. The map is intended to help give the reader as much information as possible. For example, you can add up to 10 labels to the map, marking the location of an office or subsidiaries of your company. You can add text to these labels which include a description with the address of subsidiaries and a short description of the type of activities that your business carries out, so that the reader can immediately navigate the release, and know whether the nearest representative of your company can be found.
You may also include markers on the map, which indicate the locations of any conferences, meetings, or other events described in the press release. The business locations marked on the map should be a relevant supplement to information in the press release.
The map allows you to present more information to the reader. Press Release Bureau is the first distribution service to offer it.
