2012 Oscar Gift Lounge: Artist Shawna Erback Reveals Third Feature

(Trail, BC, Canada) – Shawna Erback Studios has announced How To Train Your Dragon as the third piece in the collection A Celebration of Film, which Shawna will present at the WOW! Creations VIP Gift Suite in Beverly Hills, CA on February 23, 2012. The DreamWorks Animation Fine Art studio has released a limited number of 11x14” How To Train Your Dragon II prints in honor of the 84th Academy Awards.

“How To Train Your Dragon has been one of the most exciting projects I've worked on,” says Shawna. “The friendship of Hiccup and Toothless is so beautiful, and the opportunity to paint for DreamWorks has been incredible.”

How To Train Your Dragon II is a surreal dreamscape. Hiccup and his Night Fury companion steal away to the quiet, trusted place of their friendship and stand guard over the Island of Berk.

A Celebration of Film will include four features that will be announced in turn leading up to Oscar Week. Each piece will recreate a story from Shawna's point of view featuring her unique style. At the gifting suite, guests will be invited to choose their favorite print as their gift.

Other paintings revealed from the collection include:
 Night With The Lone Wolf, a gothic fantasty dreamscape inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.
 Key to Wonderland, a whimsical surreal dreamscape that brings Alice in Wonderland to life.
