The Escuela de Ayurveda de California is proud to announce its advanced clinical study program (CAT)

Students throughout Latin America will begin their studies in Clinical Ayurvedic Theory in February. The CAT program is the first advanced Ayurvedic studies offered in Spanish. Students in the program are from México, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia and República Dominicana.

The program (Level II) consists of a disease management curriculum along with additional training in diagnostics and Pancha Karma theory. After completing the one-year program, students will be eligible to begin the internships in their communities. Furthermore, students who complete the program and who have a Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for a Master's degree through Hindu University of America (International Hindu Vedic University).

Ayurveda, which means "The Science of Life," is the healing science from India. It has been practiced for over 5,000 years by millions of individuals to assist the body in journeying back to optimal health. Actions in harmony with our inner nature create health, while those dis-harmonious with our inner nature create disease. Ayurveda allows us to get a glimpse of our individual true nature and to find the best ways to live a life of balance. It provides holistic understanding and healing to people on all levels: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Established in 1995, the California College of Ayurveda is the longest running, State-approved (complying with the standards set forth in the California Education Code) college offering professional training programs for the study of Ayurvedic Medicine in the West. CCA offers a comprehensive curriculum, with three levels of programs leading to certification as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (C.A.S.). Our Ayurveda school offers a variety of shorter length workshops and seminars, and trains students to become the healers of the future, Ayurvedic practitioners dedicated to understanding the whole person – physically, emotionally, spiritually.
