The League for People with Disabilities Names New Board Members
The League for People with Disabilities, a leading non-profit based in Baltimore, Maryland, announces new members of its Board of Directors.
In addition, League Board members Renee Gordon, J.D., and Michael Hettleman, Chairman of the Board, Southern Galvanizing, will serve as Co-Chairs of “Here for Good,” the campaign to benefit The League’s Camp Greentop, the first camp in the nation for adults with disabilities. The camp, located in Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains, celebrates its 75th Anniversary this year.
According to President and CEO David Greenberg, The League is delighted to have access to the breadth and depth of experience represented by its board members. “As we celebrate a milestone in our history and lay the foundation for our future, we are truly honored to have the business acumen and strategic guidance of these dedicated professionals,” he notes.
The League for People with Disabilities offers Adult Medical Day services, Autism Services & Programs (ASAP), Camping and Therapeutic Recreation, Career Services and Day Habilitation for more than 2,000 children and adults with disabilities in the region.
